Biography

RagTag is the artist pseudonym of composer, multi-instrumentalist, performer and sound artist Edwin de Graaf based in the Netherlands.

Blending ambient piano moods, lofi and cinematic electronic elements, he creates emotional storytelling soundscapes and music. He also enjoys performing live in music projects and bands.

RagTag looks to unite music and emotion as an art of storytelling.

He began his musical education in an orchestra playing the saxophone. Educated as a music therapist he worked in psychiatry (‘Where words fail music speaks’) and forensic institutions. RagTag creates evocative music for filmmakers. His music fuses neoclassical piano elements, cinematic, lo-fi hip hop and modern powerful rock and pop music.
